The Indianapolis Colts announced the details regarding the team’s transition of ownership from the late Jim Irsay to his three daughters, Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt, and Kalen Jackson. The team said that all three women will take on new roles within the organization, effective immediately.
Carlie Irsay-Gordon will become the owner and CEO of the franchise, which was the role previously held by her father until his passing on May 21st, 2025. Though Carlie Irsay-Gordon will serve as the Colts’ principal owner, all three women will share leadership responsibilities.
Casey Foyt will become the organization’s owner and executive vice president. Meanwhile, Kalen Jackson will serve as an owner, chief brand officer, and president of the Indianapolis Colts Foundation.
“Being around Carlie and Kalen so much, the passion they have for this town, this city, and the generosity, doing everything they can to help those players and this team be successful, is awesome,” Colts head coach Shane Steichen told the Indianapolis Star.

Over the last 14 seasons, Carlie Irsay-Gordon has served as the vice chair/owner of the Indianapolis Colts alongside her father. Irsay-Gordon has attended meetings as a representative of the Colts since 2004 and eventually joined the organization as its vice president in 2008.
“When you talk football with her, she gets it,” Steichen said. “She goes over the defensive stuff, the offensive stuff, she’s been involved since I’ve been here. From day one, very hands-on, and she’s been tremendous. I think she’s going to do a phenomenal job.”
In 1972, Jim Irsay’s father, Robert, acquired the Baltimore Colts in a franchise trade with then-owner Carroll Rosenbloom. 12 years later, Robert Irsay moved the Colts to Indianapolis, where his son Jim served as the team’s vice president and general manager. When Robert Irsay passed away in 1997, Jim Irsay became the sole owner of the team.
Under Jim Irsay, the Indianapolis Colts won one Super Bowl, two conference championships, and ten divisional crowns.
