Eagles agree to reworked contract with tight end Dallas Goedert

The Philadelphia Eagles will have the benefit of Dallas Goedert's services for at least one more season.

Dallas Goedert will remain a member of the Philadelphia Eagles for at least one more season.

The tight end has reportedly agreed to a reworked contract with the reigning Super Bowl champions to stay with Philadelphia for the final year of his deal.

Goedert had been the subject of much trade talk around the 2025 NFL Draft and, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Eagles did receive offers over the course of draft weekend last month.

But Goedert was kept abreast of the situation and has now decided to stay with the Eagles.

Goedert had been due $14.25 million in cash in 2025. According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Goedert’s restructure decreases that amount to $10 million with up to a possible $1 million in incentives.

The 2024 season saw Goedert record 42 catches for 496 yards and two touchdowns, all of those numbers marking the lowest since his rookie season of 2018.

Goedert missed seven games of the 2024 regular season owing to injuries. The Eagles signed two tight ends, Harrison Bryant and Kylen Granson, to one-year deals in free agency.
