West Ham ‘sign’ Lazio’s Felipe Anderson
It’s turning out to be an amazing summer for West Ham United.
The Hammers, who struggled badly last season, are looking to make vast improvements to their squad.
And the big news on Friday morning – as confirmed by everyone – is that West Ham are signing Lazio playmaker Felipe Anderson.
From Gianluca Di Marzio to the Times, everyone agrees that the Anderson deal is done.
But, to be clear, at the time of writing the deal hasn’t been confirmed by the clubs. That confirmation should arrive today.

West Ham’s Felipe Anderson deal
West Ham are paying 35 million pounds for the Brazilian.
That will make Felipe Anderson West Ham’s record signing.
Anderson’s arrival comes at a time when West Ham are without Manuel Lanzini for an extended period through injury.
Moreover, West Ham also lost Andy Carroll and Winston Reid for three months each this week.
Carroll has had ankle surgery, while Reid has a knee problem.
West Ham: 6 signings
Including Anderson, West Ham have made six summer signings already.
And that’s not counting Manuel Pellegrini replacing David Moyes in the Hammers dugout.
This week the Irons unveiled their latest signings. Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has joined the club, as has Ukrainian winger Andriy Yarmolenko, who signed on from Borussia Dortmund.
At the same time, West Ham are reportedly close to signing defender Fabian Balbuena from Corinthians.
Elsewhere, Lukasz Fabianski has joined from Swansea for 7 million pounds, while defender Issa Diop has joined from Toulouse for 22 million.
