Marco Silva cuts four Everton players
Paul Joyce, the well-informed Times journalist, has broken the news on Thursday morning that four players have been ordered to stay away from Everton’s first team training.
Ashley Williams, Kevin Mirallas, Cuco Martina and Nikola Vlasic have all been ordered to train separately from the rest of the squad.
The obvious conclusion to be drawn is that these four players have no future at Goodison Park.
However, with a week to go in the summer transfer window, will Everton manage to get these players off their books?

Ashley Williams & Stoke City
Of the four Everton players named above, Ashley Williams may be the most likely to switch clubs.
It’s been reported in the Times that Stoke City are keen on the Welsh defender.
Stoke, of course, are oplaying Championship football this season after relegation from the top flight. The Times report:
Ashley Williams is willing to leave Everton and drop to the Championship after an approach from Stoke City. The Wales captain is free to leave Goodison Park, where he struggled last season.
Stoke had wanted James Chester, but the defender, who plays alongside Williams for Wales, is expected to stay at Aston Villa.
Everton’s transfer activity
Everton have made two significant additions this summer.
Brazilian forward Richarlison has reunited with Marco Silva after completing a move from Watford.
Everton have also signed French international left-back Lucas Digne from FC Barcelona.
The Toffees have also got rid of a few players. Wayne Rooney has joined DC United, while Ramiro Funes Mori has joined Villarreal.
