Chaos reigns in new celebration footage

Arsenal counted their lucky stars this past Monday at the Emirates, as the Gunners relied on a last-gasp equalizer to

The Eagles traveled across the capital under the command of Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira, and looked good value for taking a three point haul back to Selhurst Park in a very credible display.

But in the fifth minute of stoppage time, second-half substitute Alexandre Lacazette bagged an equalizer at the death, sending not only the Emirates into a status of pure elation, but whipping the Arsenal team into a chaotic celebration by the corner flag.

Lacazette, who has not started a single Premier League fixture this season while only making a substitute appearance on three occasions, once again proved that he can find the back of the net in key situations when he scored a first league goal of the season in front of the home support.

The Frenchman was then mauled by Ben White who was seen screaming into the crowd while celebrating, with the England man soon joined by Takehiro Tomiyasu, Sambi Lokonga, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gabriel Martinelli, Kieran Tierney, and Aaron Ramsdale, who ran the length of the pitch to join the celebratory melee.

Youthful togetherness on display at Arsenal

There has been much talk of the youthful nature of the Arsenal squad this season under Mikel Arteta, after the Gunners took to the transfer market in the summer to heavily recruit with both the present and the future in mind.

With one of the youngest squads in the Premier League (only Brentford and Leeds United have younger), there now seems to be a togetherness that has not been on display at the club in the last couple of years.

Similar celebrations took place when Arsenal comfortably saw off bitter rivals Tottenham nearly a month ago.

With a very young core now on display at the club that should feature an increasing bond both on and off the pitch, one can expect that these types of celebrations are set to continue as Arsenal’s young guns relish in the opportunity to grow as a collective in one of the Premier League’s most storied institutions.
