Manchester City 2 – Man United 3
How did Man United do that?
On Sunday morning, the reactions are still piling in after United beat City 3-2 in the Manchester derby.
Man City have now lost twice in two games, conceding three goals on each occasion.
Will the Sky Blues be able to recover against Liverpool in the Champions League in midweek?
Few saw United’s comeback after City went into the break 2-up. Vincent Kompany and Ilkay Gundogan had put City in the box seat to confirm the EPL title.
But then United hit back in the second half. Paul Pogba scored a double, before Chris Smalling volleyed home the winner.
Gary Neville’s unbelievable Man United halftime bet
After the Manchester derby, Gary Neville recorded his Sky Sports podcast with Martin Tyler.
Neville revealed his incredible halftime bet at the Etihad on Saturday.
Tyler confirmed that Neville had told him he still believed in United’s ability to comeback in the game at the break.
And Gary Neville then told Tyler he actually made an amazing statement in his mates’ WhatsApp group in the interval. He wrote that if Man United could score, he believed that they’d go on to win the game.
How did Neville have that foresight?!
Will be off here for a good few days!! Enjoy the night 🤣

Pep Guardiola’s one tactical error vs Man United
Neville also picked up Pep Guardiola on one tactical error.
The pundit didn’t understand why neither Sergio Aguero nor Gabriel Jesus started up-front for City.
City rarely use both strikers in tandem, so why did both forwards need to be left on the bench against United?
Savaging Paul Pogba’s Mino Raiola
Neville also tore into super-agent Mino Raiola, while discussing Pogba’s performance:
Pep has probably been a bit mischievous, there’s no doubt about that. And I think Raiola would lie to anybody.
He’s a bit of a joke really. He’s a really poor reflection on Paul Pogba.
