Van de Beek could still have Man United future

remains on the outside looking in at Old Trafford in a situation that hardly looks set to change any time soon.

The Ajax Amsterdam academy graduate and once highly-touted midfielder still has yet to nail down a place at the Theatre of Dreams after a ~£33million move from the Dutch giants last season during the summer window.

To date, the Nijkerkerveen-native has featured just 39-times for Manchester United across the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup in what is now his second season in the northwest of England, including just 6-minutes of league action this campaign.

But according to Fabrizio Romano via his Twitch channel, Van de Beek is not desperate to part ways with the Red Devils despite the paltry minutes on offer for the 24-year-old Dutchman.

Instead, his desire is to just get match time. Such circumstances are undoubtedly tied to the future of boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær however, who remains firm in his stance that Van de Beek is a valuable part of the United squad.

However, recent reports have said that Van de Beek has changed agents in the run-up to the January window with the view of targeting a move away from the club.

With just one appearance in the league this season to his name, it seems that a move away from Old Trafford is rapidly approaching.

Ole’s situation at United is precarious

Manchester United are said to be giving serious consideration to parting ways with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær in the wake of their 5-0 humiliation at the hands of bitter rivals Liverpool on Sunday.

It was another black mark on the Norwegian bosses record at the helm of the biggest club in England, as he has still yet to secure a single piece of silverware since replacing José Mourinho first on an interim basis, and then winning the job over full time despite his lack of top-level managerial experience.

The loss has seen the Red Devils pick up just one point in their last four Premier League fixtures and have now dropped down to seventh in the table.

United may still stick with OGS for the time being, but his future undoubtedly ins hanging by a thread.
