Kessie to stay at Milan ‘forever’
Liverpool had been linked with a move for Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie.
With Jurgen Klopp wanting to strengthen his midfield after the loss of Gini Wijnaldum, Kessie made complete sense.
However, it now looks as though he will remain in Milan as he has verbally committed his future to the club.
‘I want to stay at AC Milan forever. I’m proud of this club and I’m not planning to leave AC Milan, absolutely,’ said Kessie.

Klopp open to Chamberlain sale
Despite wanting to improve the midfield, Klopp is open to selling Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in order to fund other moves.
The former Arsenal man has suffered with serious injuries since his big-money move to Anfield.
West Ham are one of the interested parties and having secured Europa League football for next season could be an attractive destination.
Chamberlain could fulfil the role left absent by Jesse Lingard who returned to Man United after a brilliant loan spell.

Chiesa bid rejected
Liverpool have had a 100 million euro bid rejected by Juventus according to La Reppublica.
The Italian outlet claim Jurgen Klopp’s side see the Italian as a long-term option to replace either one of Sadio Mane of Mohamed Salah.
With the Senegalese winger struggling last season and Diogo Jota suffering from many injuries, Chiesa would make a lot of sense.
He can also play centrally as the Reds seek an upgrade on the diminishing output of Roberto Firmino.
Chiesa is currently on loan to Juventus from Fiorentina who will have an obligatory clause to purchase him after its completion.
Shaqiri interest increasing
Liverpool may be able to earn some extra financial backing from the sale of Xherdan Shaqiri.
The Swiss international is surplus to requirements at Liverpool and rumours a host of Spanish and Italian clubs want the wide man.
Shaqiri impressed again on the international stage at the Euros and this seems to have boosted his profile.
Villarreal, Sevilla, Lazio and Napoli are the noted interested parties in the player who still has 2 years left on his deal giving Liverpool plenty of control.
Interest in Xherdan Shaqiri expected to ramp up this week.

Shaqiri too has said he would like to move on from Liverpool but specifically cited Lazio as his preferred destination.
Xherdan Shaqiri: “I told Liverpool board I feel ready for a new challenge. They accepted my decision and will now consider bids to sell me. Liverpool won’t stop me this summer”, he told CorSport. 🔴 #LFC
“I’d love to come back to Italy, and I’d like to play for Lazio”, he added.
