Liverpool’s stars offered support to Sean Cox after the Napoli game

Liverpool 5 – Napoli 0

Liverpool fans received another reason to believe the Reds can win the Premier League on Saturday.

Taking on last season’s Serie A runners-up, Liverpool blew Napoli off the park at the Aviva Stadium.

A packed house in Dublin watched Liverpool beat Napoli 5-0.

The tone was set by a fourth minute goal from James Milner. Milner turned provided five minutes later as Gini Wijnaldum doubled the lead. Just before the break, Mo Salah curled home number three.

Daniel Sturridge added a fourth, while Alberto Moreno cashed in with number five.

Liverpool & Sean Cox

Liverpool used the opportunity of being in Dublin on show support for Sean Cox.

Sean Cox is recovering from life threatening injuries sustained before Liverpool’s Champions League clash with Roma last season.

A group of Roma fans, dressed in black and equipped with weapons, attacked Sean Cox outside The Albert pub.

In recent weeks it’s been report that Liverpool supporter Sean Cox has “regained consciousness” for the first time since the incident.

On Saturday, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp posed with a banner in support of Mr Cox.

Following the Napoli match, Liverpool’s squad all gathered on the pitch for more pictures with the Sean Cox banner.
