Tottenham 1 – Juventus 2
Tottenham’s Champions League campaign ended on Wednesday night at Wembley.
Juventus, the finalists in two of the last three UCL showpieces, dumped Spurs out the competition with two goals in three minutes.
Heung-Min Son gave Tottenham the lead in the 39th minute as the Bianconeri has been under the cosh throughout the first half.
But Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala scored two quick-fire goals just after the hour to turn the tie on it’s head.
Wojciech Szczesny trolled Tottenham
After the match, Arsenal old-boy Wojciech Szczesny trolled Tottenham.
Szczesny revelled in Tottenham’s defeat as he walked down the tunnel at Wembley.
As the Polish stopper exited the arena, he made a ‘chin up’ gesture to the home fans.

If that wasn’t enough to wind up the locals, Szczesny stuck the knife in on social media.
Szczesny updated his Instagram account after the game with a celebratory photo from inside the Juve locker room.
The Instagram post was captioned: ‘Great win and celebrations vs one of the best teams in North London. FORZA JUVE!!! #northlondonisred.’
‘All about Gigi Buffon’
Sticking with the Juve keepers, Kwadwo Asamoah made some interesting comments after the Spurs match.
Asamoah, who came on as a second half sub, talked about how defeating Spurs meant that Gigi Buffon’s Champions League dream continues.
Buffon has never won the Champions League in his esteemed career.
Moreover, the legendary keeper could be set to retire at the end of the season.
.@Asabob20: – We are going to fight to the end [for Buffon]. We are so happy for him.
