Juventus & Man City? Anthony Martial & Paul Pogba can go

‘Anthony Martial & Paul Pogba are done at Man United’

According to the Daily Mail on Tuesday morning, Jose Mourinho has had enough of failing stars at Man United.

The loss to West Brom last weekend seems to have proven the last straw for the Special One.

In that defeat, Paul Pogba was subbed out the game before the hour after another forgettable performance.

And, the Mail now report that Pogba’s second spell at Old Trafford may be over.

Indeed, Mourinho is lining up players set for the axe including Anthony Martial. The Mail report:

Jose Mourinho is ready to let Paul Pogba leave Manchester United in a sensational move this summer.

Pogba is by far the biggest name on a list that also includes Anthony Martial, Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind.

Paul Pogba & Man City

Could Man City sign Pogba from Man United?

Just two weeks ago, before the Manchester derby, Pep Guardiola revealed that Mino Raiola offered Pogba to City in January.

Could City complete a deal for Pogba this summer instead? Would the French star be a starter at the Etihad Stadium?

For the record, the Daily Mail do not link City with a Pogba swoop. In fact no clubs are name-dropped as suitors for the 25-year-old.

Yet, when considering possible options, there’s just a handful of clubs who seem capable of signing Pogba from United.

Anthony Martial & Juventus

Reports about Martial’s Old Trafford exit have been bubbling about for days.

Last weekend French news outlet RMC Sport confirmed Martial had rejected a five year deal from Man United.

It was also suggested that Tottenham could sign Martial this summer.

On Monday, reports began to swirl that Bayern Munich could move for Martial.

Yet, on Tuesday, Italian pink paper Gazzetta dello Sport have gone big on the claim Martial could be headed to Juventus.

While noting Bayern’s interest, it seems that Juve are definitely in the market for the 22-year-old.
