Jose Mourinho reopened his feud with the FA

Naturally, Mourinho was quizzed about his post match reactions in a series of interviews after the game.

Perhaps the most enlightening reaction Mourinho gave on his ear cupping gesture came in an interview with Scandinavian news outlet Viasport.

Mourinho defended his actions, noting the Juve fans insulted him for “94 minutes”. And then he enjoyed the following exchange with his interviewer:

Mourinho: Do you understand Italian?

Interviewer: Erm, no.

Mourinho: Ask the FA, they will translate for you! [Laughs]

The Special One’s reference was clear.

Following the match against Newcastle United in the Premier League, Mourinho was accused of of saying “fodas filhos de puta” – “f*** off sons of a bitch”.

Indeed, the FA charged Mourinho for using abusive, insulting or improper language.

However, Mourinho defied the odds and he beat the charge.

For the record, the last time the FA brought a disciplinary case which failed was back in 2013.

No wonder Mourinho is still laughing about his victory against the FA!
