Everyone saw what James Collins gestured to West Ham’s fans after Brighton

Brighton 3 – West Ham 1

Following Saturday’s result at the Amex Stadium, Brighton are 13th in the table while West Ham are 12th.

They both have 27 points on the board after 26 matches in the Premier League.

Both sides are just three points off the bottom three. Yet, there’s no doubt that Brighton will be the happier team this weekend.

Chris Hughton’s side picked up three huge points on Saturday beating West Ham 3-1.

In an incredible stat, 29% of all of Brighton’s Premier League goals this season have come against West Ham.

The hosts took the lead in the first half through Glenn Murray.

West Ham levelled with a moment of magic from Mexican striker Javier Hernandez.

James Collins gesture to West Ham’s fans after Brighton

The relationship between West Ham’s fans versus the owners and the club’s board is toxic at the minute.

Following the 2-0 FA Cup defeat away at Wigan, Hammers fans confronted owners David Gold and David Sullivan about the state of their club.

At the Brighton game on Saturday, Irons fans displayed a couple of banners attacking the owners once again.

And according to eye-witness reports from the Brighton game, after the match centre-half James Collins made an incredible gesture.

Collins reportedly “came over to the away fans, apologised, shrugged and did the money gesture with his hands”.
