Josh Tymon earns £150 a week
On Saturday, Josh Tymon made his Hull debut at just 17 years of age.
Tymon has played for Hull in a few FA Cup matches but this was his first start in the Premier League and confirms that he is a player to keep an eye on.
After impressing in FA Cup matches at the age of 16, Tymon was awarded a new Hull contract in June last year, for two seasons.
Arsenal & Everton are tracking Tymon
On Saturday, it emerged that Tymon, who played 68 minutes in the 3-0 defeat at Sunderland, earns just £150 a week.
This is a far cry from the many thousands, often in the hundreds of thousands, that we routinely hear that Premier League players earn.
There are suggestions that Tymon is one one of the lowest paid players in Premier League history.
Unsurprisingly, both Arsenal and Everton have been linked with Tymon in recent days.

Result didn't define our first half performance today! But personally it was a dream come true to make my premier league debut for @HullCity

Josh Tymon made his Premier League debut for Hull today – yet earns £150 a week..think the club may need to review their pay structure…

@CharlieWyett First decent academy talent they've had in years but in danger of losing him. Daft really

Not a lot of cheer from a #hcafc point of view but hats off to Josh Tymon. A Premier League debut for his hometown club aged 17. Fair play.
