Isco out, Eden Hazard in?
The front page of Spanish paper AS on Thursday leads with fresh transfer rumour.
Just because the transfer window is shut, the press seem addicted to spreading gossip.
As most will know, Real Madrid have struggled enormously this season, particularly in La Liga.
Los Blancos are fourth in Spain and a staggering 19 points behind league leaders Barcelona.
Many are wondering how much longer Zinedine Zidane can hold onto his position as the club’s manager, yet AS report that the French legend is already planning for the summer.
Zidane’s plan, as revealed in AS, is to sell Isco in the off-season as Real Madrid hope to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea.
Of course, Hazard has long been tipped to leave Chelsea to join Madrid.

Man City vs Liverpool
If Real Madrid sell Isco, where will the Spanish attacking midfielder go?
AS cover that issue as well on Thursday, listing five clubs who would all try to sign Isco in the summer.
From the Premier League, it’s believed Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal would all be in the market.
Beginning with Man City, AS claim that Isco has the style which Pep Guardiola likes. Moreover, the Sky Blues have the financial clout to make the deal happen.
And, after trying and failing to sign Riyad Mahrez in January, Man City have shown there’s room in their squad for another attacking talent.
But what about Liverpool? Jurgen Klopp also has the resources to sign Isco after Philippe Coutinho left Anfield to join Barcelona.
Coutinho’s exit has also opened up a spot in the Liverpool squad which Isco could fill.
As for Arsenal, while AS namedrop the Gunners as possible suitors, that feels unlikely. Arsene Wenger is well stocked with creative attacking players after Mesut Ozil’s contract renewal and the arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Two other clubs are also mentioned as possible Isco suitors: Bayern Munich and Juventus.
Note: The source of the Isco, Real Madrid story
It’s also worth mentioning that AS are not the source for the original ‘Real Madrid may sell Isco’ story.
Rather the rumour was first floated on the Spanish TV show ‘El Chiringuito’.
El Chiringuito carry the reputation of being rather unreliable. So Real Madrid fans may wonder if the whole Isco story is true from the get-go.
