Frank Lampard & Chelsea
There was a special moment at Stamford Bridge on Saturday during Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Swansea.
During the halftime break, the club’s all-time leading goalscorer, Frank Lampard, stepped out onto the pitch.
Lampard, 38, recently announced his retirement from the game, while he left Chelsea in 2014 before having stints at Man City and New York City FC.
Time to say goodbye
When Lampard left the Bridge in 2014, he never got to say goodbye to the fans.
The club icon finally got that opportunity during the Swansea game, and he delivered a terrific short speech.
