Everyone heard Steve McManaman slating Wolves after the Everton game

Steve McManaman slating Wolves

Now that’s not very impartial…

In the immediate aftermath of Wolves’ 2-2 draw with Everton on Saturday night, pundit Steve McManaman aired a comment out loud which probably should have stayed in his head.

After the game ended on BT Sport, Steve McManaman was heard slating Wolves on air.

McManaman clearly thought he was not going to be heard as he said “I don’t like Wolves”.

Did he think his mic was off? Well, it wasn’t!

Cue the first round of media bias this Premier League season.

Wolves 2 – Everton 2

Wolves have a point on the board after their first game back in the Premier League.

It was a thrilling match at Molineux, as Everton took the lead in the first half through summer signing Richarlison.

In the 40th minute Everton were reduced to ten men. Phil Jagielka was sent off for taking out Diogo Jota when he was the last defender back for Everton.

That gave Wolves a boost, and the hosts levelled just before the break with another Ruben Neves goal from distance.

After the interval Everton retook the lead. Richarlison showed that his right foot can be used for more than standing as he curled home a beauty.

But Wolves salvaged a point. Neves swung in a fine cross which Raul Jimenez headed home in the 80th minute.
