Bellerin ‘spoke with Arsenal’ to inform them he wants to leave, Inter Milan are ‘his priority’

Bellerin’s Arsenal struggles

Hector Bellerin has been with Arsenal since he was 16 years of age after he joined the North London side from Barcelona.

With Arsene Wenger, he was given his opportunity and flourished under the Frenchman. Under both Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta, however, he has seen his minutes considerably lessen recently.

After suffering a major knee problem in which he had to spend much of the 18/19 season out, he returned to the side and looked briefly to be getting back to his best. A goal against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge announced his return in the best way.

However, Mikel Arteta has been using Bellerin less and less opting to choose Calum Chambers instead in the right back position.

All of this has now led to the current state of affairs where the Spanish international looks set to depart the club.

Bellerin tells Arsenal he wants to leave

According to Calcio Mercato’s Matteo Moretto, Hector Bellerin has now officially told the club of his desire to move away from long-term residency.

Inter Milan looks the most likely destination with Bellerin looking to move abroad somewhere.

However, as of a few days ago, nothing had advanced in regards to a deal between the clubs. Arsenal are not willing to let the Spaniard leave on a loan with an option to buy which is what Inter Milan want.

However, Bellerin has been spotted on the plane travelling to Arsenal’s first preseason match of the season against Hibernian.
