Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson apologises after ‘his’ offensive Dele Alli tweet

Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson vs Tottenham’s Dele Alli

As Tottenham had their Champions League dreams ended by Juventus, Arsenal fans were loving tweets from Reiss Nelson’s Twitter.

Arsenal may be suffering in another torrid campaign, but the Spurs defeat offered them a mini respite.

In that context, a tweet from Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson went viral on Wednesday.

Reacting to a picture of Dele Alli on social media, Reiss Nelson wrote a tweet which said “suck my d*ck”.

That tweet has since been deleted from the Arsenal star’s official account.

And 18-year-old Reiss Nelson has also apologised and explained what apparently happened:

Sorry if the previous tweet offended anyone. My twitter was hacked and I just got it back now. Shout out to the hacker though, you could’ve killed me.

So far the identity of the alleged hacker has been kept under wraps.

AC Milan vs Arsenal

The Gunners are back in Europa League action on Thursday as they head to AC Milan.

A decade ago Milan versus Arsenal would have been a standout clash in the Champions League, but both clubs have regressed in recent seasons.

Many Arsenal fans will be fearful ahead of the Rossoneri tie. Lots of people questioned Gennaro Gattuso’s appointment in the San Siro dugout, but the former Milan star has helped galvanise the team back to winning ways.

Milan come into the Arsenal game on the back of a 13-match unbeaten run. They’ve won their last six matches in a row.

And Arsenal? They are arguably at the lowest point of Arsene Wenger’s 22-year reign at the club.

Arsenal have lost four matches on the spin. Will Milan make it five?
