Arsenal have been playing out of Europe’s top competition for 4 seasons in a row. The failure to qualify, with this season also not looking likely, besides by winning the Europa League, shows why the club is so keen to join.
The financial losses the club is making also feed into a desire to earn additional revenue.

Considering the troubles the Gunners have had this season, it is likely this will only further affect performances from a mental standpoint.
However, considering Arsenal’s league finish will soon be irrelevant due to their permanent presence in the Super League.
The Europa League final which would grant The Gunners a return to the Champions League also seems now a moot point.
There is an air of hollowness to the game which will be tough to replace. A task which could take years.
