Antonio Conte receives a Man United shirt

There was an eye-catching moment during Antonio Conte’s presser on Thursday before the Hull game.

Chelsea’s boss was presented with a Manchester United shirt with his name on the back.

The Man United shirt was handed to Conte by Italian journalists.

So what’s going on?

The whole episode was part of a stunt pulled by Italian pranksters for a TV show called Le Iene on Italia 1.

A few weeks ago the first stage of the prank was pulled when the same Man United shirt was presented to Jose Mourinho for a signature.

Mourinho duly signed the jersey, before it was revealed to have Conte’s name on the back.

Conte and Mourinho have had their fair share of scuffles on the touchline in recent seasons.

And, of course, Mourinho was the Chelsea boss before he took over at Man United.

Chelsea vs Hull FA Cup match preview

The backdrop to Friday’s match will be Ryan Mason’s retirement from football.

Mason’s career was ultimate ended at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge when he fractured his skull.

Last season Chelsea reached the FA Cup final. But, just as it looked like Antonio Conte would walk away with the double, the Blues lost to Arsenal.

Can Chelsea go one better in this season’s competition?

The Pensioners have squeaked into this stage of the tournament. Norwich were eventually beaten on penalties after a replay before Chelsea confidently beat Newcastle 3-0 in the last round.

As for Hull, they beat Blackburn at Ewood Park in the third round. The Tigers then beat Nottingham Forest 2-1.

Based on the general form guide, it’s difficult to bet against Chelsea.

While the Blues have three defeats in their last five, Chelsea are still fourth in the Premier League and in the last-16 of the Champions League.

Hull are 21st in the Championship, one spot and one point above the drop zone.
