What a crazy Manchester derby!

The Premier League produced another incredible match on Saturday night in the Manchester derby.

At halftime Man City were ready to celebrate the title. And few had any faith that Man United could stop them.

Vincent Kompany set the early tone as the City legend headed home a 25th minute corner. Five minutes later City were in dreamland as Ilkay Gundogan doubled City’s advantage.

United barely threatened in the first half, as Paul Pogba was slaughtered on social media.

But then everything changed in the second half.

Man United scored three times in 16 second half minutes to turn the match on it’s head.

Paul Pogba silenced his haters with a double, while Chris Smalling – who had also been slammed in the first half – scored the third from a 69th minute set-play.

While the goalscorers obviously received plenty of credit for finding the target, Alexis Sanchez drew huge plaudits in the second half.

Sanchez, who had yet to really have a big game for United, produced in the derby in a big way.

Sanchez was hugely involved in the opener, as he crossed to Ander Herrera, who laid up Pogba to score.

Alexis Sanchez was directly involved in setting up United’s second.

The Chilean chipped a delightful ball over the top to the onrushing Pogba.

The French international headed home the leveller for 2-2.

And then Sanchez set up the third United goal too.

Alexis swung in a free-kick which Chris Smalling volleyed home from close range.

Man United won the derby 3-2.

Jose Mourinho took Alexis out the game with eight minutes to go.
