Vote: Top 10 Goals of the Week

The summer season has done little to curb the volume of football matches over the past seven days, and happily we’ve once again been supplied with a bountiful amount of golazos.

We start this week’s top 10 in the Brazilian second division with a quality backheeled finish, followed by a long-range ripper of a free-kick from Finland.

The international football scene then takes over.

A thumper from France appears at spot three, a terrific last minute solo-special pops up at number four, while a dark horse to swoop the top goalscorer award at the upcoming Euros scored an acrobatic beauty at five.

Two goals from La Albiceleste which cut across the Barcelona/Real Madrid divide rock up at positions six and seven, while position 8 is filled by one of the all-time great Portuguese playmakers who proved he’s still got it against Manchester United’s legends over the weekend.

That leaves two: a wonderful free-kick from Boca Juniors’ talisman in the cup semi-final, and lastly a world-class chipped finish from a Tottenham player who strangely rarely gets a game for the Lilywhites.

Enjoy the top 10 & place your vote for the best goal of the week in our poll below.
