Vote: Top 10 Goals of the Week

There is no such thing as a summer break when talking about world football. Proof in point: this week’s top 10 goals of the week list.

We begin with Euro 2012 where Super Mario thundered home a stunner against Manuel Neuer in the semis. From there focus shifts to North America, where the San Jose-LA Galaxy thriller on Saturday produced two special goals from Goldenballs and Chris “Wondo” Wondolowski.

Continuing the trip around planet earth, goal four supplied a thumper from Norway while goal five produced another pile-driver from Japan.

The second half of the top 10 is kick-started by the standout goal in the Euro 2012 final, and then we find four outstanding goals from South America.

Goal seven serves-up an assist of the season contender, goal eight a beautiful strike which won the U20 Copa Libertadores, goal nine is a thrilling volley from Peru, whilst we finish off with a special scissors-kick from Brazil.
