The champions are back in action this Wednesday in Serie A as AC Milan kick off the domestic return in Italy with a trip to the Arechi Stadium where Salernitana are aiming to get into the top half of the table.
Milan remain in second ahead of this game and the defence of their Serie A title has begun to look bleaker and bleaker as weeks have gone on. They now sit behind Napoli in first by eight points, having failed to win three fewer games.
Milan do still have a fantastic goals scored record, with 29 going in from 15 games to make them the third-highest scoring team in Serie A. Their defensive record is the worst in the top four, however, with 15 goals let in.
As for Salernitana, they have scored 10 fewer goals from 15 games and have conceded nine more. This comes after four wins, five draws and six losses.
The club are now in 12th ahead of the Serie A return with a gap of only two points to make up on 10th-placed Fiorentina.
