Napoli will be gunning for Spezia this weekend with them coming off the back of one of their most famous Champions League results with the away side still sat down in 14th after a tough start to the latest Serie A season.
Spezia have managed to get a win on the board early one, but this does leave them just three points above the relegation zone right now, while the only clubs sitting below them in the table are those who have not won a game just yet.
Spezia drew with Bologna last time out 2-2, which was the same result recorded against Sassuolo. Inter Milan and Juventus have managed to beat them 3-0 and 2-0 in the past three weeks, which came just after their only win of the league season against Empoli.
Napoli absolutely destroyed Liverpool on Wednesday night. The club could have went on to score four or five in the first half alone, and with a demolition job from the first minute to the last, fans left the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium with the feeling they could have got more than the 4-1 win.
This also comes after a 2-1 victory over Lazio in Serie A where Kvicha Kvaratskhelia scored the winning goal in what has been a sensational season for him so far this campaign. Napoli are also still unbeaten in the league with draws coming against Fiorentina and Lecce.
Luciano Spalleti’s men look like being in a title race this campaign, and it’s all about whether or not they can build on these magnificent results early on in 2022/23.
