A monumental battle for the a place in the top three takes place in Rome this Tuesday evening as the Stadio Olimpico plays hosts to Lazio and AC Milan with both sides separated by four points in Serie A ahead of this one.
Lazio remain in sixth right now before this battle and are only behind their rivals Roma by three points with this game in hand. Their goals difference is far superior than every other side outside of top place, so they will move into third with a win here.
Milan are coming into this one off the back of four winless games in what has been a diabolical return since the World Cup break. The club’s only victory remains over Salernitana at the start of the month.
Two draws in Serie A against Roma and Lecce came thereafter, before a round of 16 loss to Torino in the Coppa Italia. A 3-0 loss against rivals Inter Milan came last Wednesday in the Supercoppa Italiana all the way over in Saudi Arabia.
Napoli are likely to run away with the league title this season with their current gap of 12 points on Milan. This, however, is a vital game for a top three spot.
