Match preview

Two sides in winning form will meet with one another in Serie A this Saturday evening as Inter Milan welcomes Hellas Verona to San Siro with the away side finally putting points on the board and moving off the foot of the table.

From out of the shadows, Verona have risen off last place and thrown Cremonese to the bottom of the Serie A pile after beating them 2-0 on Monday. Darko Lazovic was the hero that day for the club, as he scored twice to lift Verona into 18th.

At the same time, Salvatore Bocchetti’s men have managed to draw with Torino this month too and it now brings his side to six points from safety after previously feeling doomed that Serie B football was over the horizon.

Inter managed to edge past Serie B side Parma last time out, but needed added time to create passage into the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia.

Lautaro Martinez scored a late equalsier after going 1-0 down to Parma, before Francesco Acerbi won it for Inter in the 110th minute.

Back in Serie A, the San Siro side have drawn with Monza and become the first team to beat Napoli in Italy this season. It has moved the club into fourth as well.
