The winless Bologna will welcome Fiorentina to the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium this weekend with the home side now also managerless just as the Florence side look for only their second Serie A win of the campaign.
With just one win across Serie A for Fiorentina, there is not much hope for them after five games in Serie A. What’s more, they have let in just four goals by scored only four of their own, what’s more, this now means they have failed to score in four games this season, all of which came in a row. It started with a 0-0 draw with Empoli, as Twente drew with them in the Europa Conference League playoffs too.
A commendable point came when they welcomed Napoli to Florence, but by losing to Udinese 1-0 and drawing 1-1 with Juventus over the last weekend, there isn’t much going on at the club right now. There is a Europa Conference League campaign to look forward to after beating Riga on Thursday.
Bologna remain winless in Serie A and it is beginning to look like a long road ahead for the club as they have now let go of head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic after such a poor start. They did manage to get another draw over the weekend to make it three points on the board after five games, as Spezia took a point off them in a 2-2 draw.
This keeps Bologna outside of the relegation zone so far, but with eight goals scored and just five goals, there is great concern already. What’s more, two of their goals have come through penalties and the likes of Marko Arnautovic are going to be crucial moving forward for Bologna this campaign.
