St Mirren vs Livingston betting tips: Scottish Premiership preview, predictions and odds

The last eight meetings between these two have finished either 1-0 or 1-1; four draws, three victories for St Mirren and one Livingston win. Livi are winless in five visits to Paisley, only winning five of 16 trips there this century.

Under 2.5 goals is 4/7.

Under 2.5 goals and both teams to score NO is 20/21.

Alex Greive is 8/1 to break the deadlock and 3/1 to score in back-to-back games.

Match preview

Despite their horrendous form in recent months, St Mirren will be a Premiership club for a fifth consecutive season.

On Saturday, the Buddies beat bottom of the table Dundee 2-0 in Paisley with Alex Greive and then Curtis Main on target.

That made it back-to-back wins for Stephen Robinson's men who also beat St Johnstone 1-0 at McDiarmid Park a week earlier.

Before this, St Mirren had lost four in a row, and seven of their previous eight, so were getting dragged into the relegation battle.

Now though, they're ten points clear of 11th, aiming for a strong end to the season.

Livingston meanwhile are looking to clinch seventh place, thereby ending up as the best of the bottom half.

The Lions have been in terrific form since the split, drawing 1-1 with St Johnstone on Saturday, thanks to Jack Fitzwater's equaliser.

Before this, David Martindale's men had enjoyed back-to-back wins, beating Aberdeen and Hibs, so currently sit in seventh.

St Mirren team news

Alex Greive, who joined from Birkenhead United in January, scored his third St Mirren goal in Saturday's win.

This is just as well because Connor Ronan, who's shone on loan from Wolves, as well as Jordan Jones are going to miss the final two games of the season.

So, Greg Kiltie could continue to support the front two of Grevie and Curtis Main, both of whom scored against Dundee.

Livingston team news

Top-scorer, Bruce Anderson is still out injured, meaning Joel Nouble will be up front for Livingston.

Max Stryjek is available again, following a retrospective two-match ban, so will return in goal, displacing Ivan Konovalov.
