Match preview

The two sides either side of the crucial relegation line go head-to-head in this massive clash in Dingwall.

As it stands, St Johnstone would be contested May's relegation play-off but, given their predicament, they might actually take that.

Last weekend, the Saints enjoyed a massive 2-1 victory over Hearts with Ali Crawford and Jamie McCart on target at McDiarmid Park.

This means Callum Davidson's side have now taken nine points from their last six games despite losing eight on the bounce before this.

That win lifted St Johnstone off the foot of the table, two points clear of Dundee, but still four points from guaranteed safety.

The team in that all important tenth positition is Ross County.

Malky Mackay's men were beaten 2-0 at Easter Road by Hibernian a week ago.

This means they've only won one of their last five but, conversely, it's just four defeats from their last 15 matches.

All in all, the Staggies are in a decent position but would love to almost double their cushion with a victory here.

Who will claim three vitally important points at Victoria Park?

Ross Callachan and Jordan White form a decent front quartet.

St Johnstone team news

The Saints' recent wins are even more remarkable given that they're without guaranteed starters Zander Clark, Shaun Rooney and Chris Kane.

Craig Bryson, David Wotherspoon and Cammy MacPherson are also injured, limiting Callum Davidson's options.

The great news is that Nadir Çiftçi is back and, the man who arrived from Ankaragücü in January, could lead the attack.
