Match preview

Can Dundee climb off the bottom of the Premiership table?

Last weekend, in the first match since Mark McGhee's appointment, the Dee came agonisingly close to a point at Celtic Park.

Goals from Danny Mullen and then Ryan Sweeney meant the score was 2-2 with just moments to go until the league-leaders snatched a late winner.

So, the Dark Blues have now lost eight of their last 11 Premiership games with their only win coming at Tynecastle in James McPake's last league game in charge.

As a result, Dundee are now bottom of the Premiership, two points below St Johnstone and six adrift Ross County and safety.

Will they claim their first home win since 1 December?

Livingston meanwhile have motored away from the bottom two places in recent weeks courtesy of a string of decent results.

Davie Martindale's men held St Mirren to a 1-1 draw at the Tony Macaroni Arena last Saturday, taking the lead through Bruce Anderson.

In all, Livi have taken 18 points from their last 11 games, only losing three, so are now ten points clear Dundee.

Will there be a winner in this crucial match at Dens Park?

Dundee team news

With Lee Ashcroft and Jordan Marshall injured, Dundee are somewhat short of defensive options.

Captain Charlie Adam did not feature last Sunday but could return here and that would be a big boost.

Niall McGinn was on the bench at Parkhead but came off it and made an impact so surely did enough to warrant a start here.

Danny Mullen will be their main man for goals in this relegation battle and made a good start to this challenge, netting for the fifth time this season on Sunday.

Livingston team news

Livingston's two key men play at opposite ends of the pitch.

Goalkeeper Max Stryjek is one of the best in Scotland and will go onto bigger and better things at some point.

Bruce Anderson meanwhile has now scored 11 times this season, including both in a 2-0 victory over Dundee at Almondvale in January.
