Match preview: Team & Player Performance

Can Watford climb out the relegation zone?

In the last week, Roy Hodgson has taken charge of his first and then second matches in charge of the Hornets but hasn't made the ideal start.

First, last Saturday night, they played out a dire, uneventful goalless draw with relegation rivals Burnley in the pouring Turf Moor rain.

Then, three days later, Watford were beaten 1-0 at the London Stadium by West Ham with the only goal deflecting in off the unfortunate Samir.

This all means the Hornets have taken just two points from the last 30 available in the Premier League so remain 19th.

Will they claim their first victory in 84 days here?

Brighton & Hove Albion meanwhile are the Premier League's draw specialists.

In their last league game, back on 23 January, Danny Welbeck's late equaliser saw the Seagulls earn a 1-1 draw at Leicester.

This means Graham Potter's men are unbeaten in six league games but have drawn four of them, all by the same 1-1 scoreline.

In fact, 12 of the Seagulls' 22 league games so far have ended all square, losing just four, and this is enough to see them kick off in ninth.

Will this one produce another stalemate at Vicarage Road?

Our 101 Match prediction: Watford 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton are unbeaten in four matches against Watford, only losing one of seven encounters in the Premier League.
