For the second time already this season, the Premier League’s bottom two go head-to-head.

At the start of September, bottom of the league Arsenal beat 19th-placed Norwich City 1-0 in North London.

That saw the Canaries slip to the foot of the table and they’ve remained there since.

The question now though is will they be there until May?

Well, last weekend, Daniel Farke’s men were beaten again, this time 2-0 at Goodison Park by Everton.

This means Norwich are still pointless and looking to avoid joining an exclusive club

Only two clubs, Portsmouth in 2009 and Crystal Palace in 2017, have ever started a top-flight season with seven straight loses.

Pompey went on to be relegated in 20th while Palace finished 11th; some hope perhaps?

But, the Canaries’ last three Premier League seasons have all ended in relegation and this looks like going the same way.

Burnley meanwhile are also yet to win, hence why they’re second bottom, but came oh-so close last weekend.

Maxwel Cornet’s stunning volley helped them hold Leicester to a 2-2 draw but Chris Wood thought he’d won it in the 95th minute.

However, the New Zealand international was adjudged to be offside by VAR, denying Sean Dyche’s team a fantastic victory.

So, the Clarets have just two points thus far, yielded from draws with Leeds and then, as mentioned, Leicester.

But, Burnley could end the day above the dreaded dotted line if they were to end their 13-match league winless run at home.

Will Turf Moor witness a Burnley Premier League win for the first time since 27 January?

Prediction: Burnley 2-0 Norwich City

Norwich have only won one of their last 11 league meetings with Burnley.

This’ll be their 44th meetings in all competitions and, to date, they’ve never played out a goalless draw.
