Wolves vs Tottenham betting tips: Premier League match preview & predictions

Wolves vs Tottenham 101 Great Goals prediction: Wolves 1-3 Tottenham

Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to avoid a third consecutive defeat on Saturday at Molineux.

Following a strong start to life back in the Premier League, the last few weeks have been tough for the Championship winners.

Tottenham Hotspur had just 48 hours to prepare for their Carabao Cup win over West Ham United on Wednesday.

Having suffered defeat to Manchester City on Monday, Spurs’ squad will be tested on Saturday.

Following two successive defeats, Wolves enter the clash at 9/4 to claim three points.

Nuno Espirito Santos’ side have already held two of last season’s top four to draws and are at 12/5 to do the same on the weekend.

Tottenham head to the West Midlands as favourites.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are rated at 5/4 to claim three points with Bet365.

Wolves vs Tottenham match preview

Results last weekend saw Wolves slip out of the Premier League’s top half.

Santos’ men started the season with a flourish – taking eight points from their first five fixtures.

The newly-promoted side have also shown an ability to be resilient against the league’s top sides.

Everton, Manchester City and Manchester United have all failed to beat the Wanderers this term.

Wolves looked to have made Molineux a daunting place to visit – until they slipped up there against Watford two weeks ago.

The Hornets struck in quick succession to claim three points and hand Spurs some encouragement ahead of the trip.

Keeping in touch of top four

Defeat at Wembley Stadium on Monday makes Saturday’s visit to Molineux crucial for Spurs.

The North London club are five points behind Manchester City and Liverpool, three behind Chelsea and one off Arsenal.

This week will have placed a strain on the club’s squad with just 48 hours between their Premier League and Carabao Cup clashes.

Heung-min Son back amongst the goals and Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli returning from injury will hand Pochettino a huge boost.

The South Korean netted his first goal in 17 appearances for Tottenham at the London Stadium.

Wolves team news vs Tottenham

Santos has no injury fresh concerns ahead of Tottenham’s arrival.

This will allow the Portuguese manager to name an unchanged line-up from Brighton and Hove Albion.

His biggest selection decision will be between selecting Adama Traore or Jota.

Tottenham team news vs Tottenham

Eric Dier remains a doubt for the clash having suffered a thigh injury versus City.

The 24-year-old missed Spurs’ League Cup game at the London Stadium with the knock.

Danny Rose is also a doubt, whilst Jan Vertonghen remains sidelined until December.
