Wolves vs Everton 101 Great Goals prediction: Wolves 1-1 Everton
Two of the most interesting sides going into the season will go head to head Molineux and it’s set to be a close affair.
Both Wolves and Everton have made big changes this summer, Wolves overhauling their squad and Everton doing the same, as well as the arrival of Marco Silva.
The two teams are being tipped for some decent things this season and will likely go up against each other to try and finish around 7th or 8th.
With that in mind, it’s expected to be a close affair on Saturday evening.
Wolves vs Everton: Who will win?
There are some interesting odds going into the game this weekend.
Wolves actually go into the game as pretty heavy favourites at 11/8 while Everton sit as outsiders at 12/5.
A 1-1 draw can be found at decent odds of 11/2 while both teams to score is at odds of 4/5.
With several new players coming into either club, there are some interesting odds in the goalscorer market.
Wolves new boy Raul Jimenez is the favourite to score first at 5/1 while his striking counterpart Cenk Tosun can be found at 6/1.
Everton’s big summer signing Richarlison, who has really impressed in pre-season, is priced at a very attractive 9/1 to score first.
Wolves vs Everton preview
While this isn’t going to be one of the blockbuster games of the weekend, it is set to be one of the most intriguing.
That is because both of these sides will go into the game with all new line-ups and plenty of eyes will be on them, especially Wolves.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s side impressed in the Championship last season and were already expected to stay up with ease this season.
That was before they went crazy in the transfer market and signed a host of high-profile players this summer.
Rui Patricio was the first name through the door and a huge name at that.
The Euro 2016 winning goalkeeper was a huge coup for the Molineux side but that was followed up by even more.
Joao Moutinho joined from Monaco for a relatively small fee of £5million.
Diogo Jota, Willy Bolly, Adama Traore and Leander Dendoncker were the other big-name players coming into the club as well as several other deals.
That will see a potential top ten squad under Nuno Espírito Santo’s watch and they will be looking to get their campaign off to the perfect start.
Silva lining for Everton?
There’s also a lot of optimism going into the season from Everton fans after Marco Silva joined the club.
Initially, there were only a couple of transfer moves in Richarlison and Lucas Digne but on deadline day the side have moved for Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and Bernard, transforming their team.
They now look as though they will be an attacking force to be reckoned with and there will certainly be some high-tempo football on show.
Marco Silva has also made a stunning start at most of his clubs, most notably Watford.
He started last season in fine form and made a serious push for the top four up until October when Everton approached him and was later sacked.
Now, Silva will be hoping for a similar start to life at Goodison Park but with more sustained success next season.

Everton team news vs Wolves
New signings Richarlison and Lucas Digne will be expected to start the game with Jordan Pickford also returning last weekend after his World Cup heroics, set to feature.
Potential new signings Andre Gomes, Yerry Mina and Bernard will almost certainly not feature with such a limited amount of time to bed in.
Theo Walcott and Mason Holgate were both injured in pre-season but the former looks to have overcome his just in time for the season.
