Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace: Match preview

Tottenham Hotspur look to finally be out of a run of form which saw them suffer five defeats in six.

Spurs have since recorded back-to-back wins and look to be entering a much better period with key players coming back into form.

Gareth Bale has been the standout performer, whilst the likes of Dele Alli and Lucas Moura have also stepped up.

Mourinho’s side now find themselves just five points off the top four with a game in hand.

Although four teams still separate them from the top four with Chelsea, Everton, West Ham and Liverpool all ahead of them.

The north London club cannot afford anymore dips in form as they look to return to the Champions League next season.

Palace three games unbeaten

Crystal Palace have gone three matches unbeaten after they held Man United to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday.

In that run of games, they also produced a last-gasp winner in the derby with Brighton before also drawing with Fulham.

The Eagles are now 13th and sit just four points off the top half.

Roy Hodgson’s side have also been handed a major boost with the return of Wilfried Zaha from injury.

The south London club will hope their leading goal scorer will be the man to help them climb the table over the coming weeks.
