Betting prediction: Southampton 0-2 Chelsea
Southampton suffered a six successive defeat in the league on Sunday as they were beaten by Wolves.
The Saints are without a win since their victory against Liverpool and have dropped into 13th.
Thomas Tuchel continued his strong start to life at Stamford Bridge with a win over Newcastle United on Monday.
Chelsea have won four of their five matches since the German manager arrived and have climbed back into the top four.

Mason Mount to score first. The English midfielder has managed to work his way into Tuchel’s regular line-up and played a key part in Chelsea’s success since his arrival.
Mount managed to play a key role in the Blues’ second goal against Sheffield United and he will be eager to get his name back on the scoresheet against Southampton.

Southampton vs Chelsea: Match preview
Southampton have now lost all of their matches since their shock win over Liverpool.
Six consecutive defeats in the league have seen the Saints slip into 13th.
Ralph Hassenhuttl’s side are just ten points above the bottom three and Newcastle in 17th are just four points behind them.
Several teams are now queuing up behind them leaving the manager under real pressure to start turning things around quickly.
Despite reaching the FA Cup quarter-finals by beating Wolves, Nuno’s side managed to get their revenge by beating Southampton in the league on Sunday.
The Midlands club came from behind to inflict yet another defeat on the Saints.

Tuchel’s impressive start continues
Four wins in five matches since Tuchel’s arrival at the club has seen Chelsea climb back into the top four.
The Blues have won their last four matches defeating Burnley, Tottenham, Sheffield United and Newcastle.
They will however need to maintain their impressive form with the race for the top four really heating up.
West Ham, Liverpool and Everton are all within touching distance of the west London club.
The Hammers are level on points, Jurgen Klopp’s side are just two points behind them whilst the Toffees are five points behind with a game in hand.

Southampton team news vs Chelsea
Southampton have once again lost Kyle Walker-Peters to injury.
The right-back has picked up another hamstring injury having just returned from a similar problem.
Walker-Peters suffered the injury against Wolves and is set for a spell on the sidelines.
Central defender Mohammed Salisu replaced the 23-year-old against Wolves and could do the same again on Saturday.
Alexandre Jankewitz is back from a three-game suspension having been sent off against in the 9-0 defeat at Old Trafford.
Theo Walcott, Ibrahima Diallo, Michael Obafemi and William Smallbone all remain sidelined for the clash.

Chelsea team news vs Southampton
Kai Havertz has returned to training ahead of the trip to the south coast.
The German has been struggling with a knock and has missed the Blues’ last four matches.
Havertz is likely to start on the bench with Timo Werner and Mason Mount ahead of him in the pecking order.
Thiago Silva is also back in training after recovering from a muscle injury.
The defender was forced off against Spurs just over two weeks ago.
Andreas Christensen has filled in during the Brazilian’s absence and Tuchel will need to decide whether to stick or twist on Saturday.
Tammy Abraham has suffered an ankle injury and has been ruled out of the match.
Olivier Giroud is set to be the player who will fill in for the English striker.
