This dominance is consistent when looking at all competitions with United winning 40 matches to 17 for the Canaries in all competitions dating back to 1906 when they first met in the FA Cup.
United come into this match having won in each of their last 4 visits to Carrow Road in all competitions.
Norwich City vs Manchester United: Recommended bets
101 Great Goals’ prediction for this match is Norwich City 0 – 2 Manchester United and is available at odds of 8/1.
1-0 Norwich City win. Norwich City’s last home victory over Manchester United came back in 2012 by a single goal. A repeat of this score on Saturday is available at odds of 19/1.
2-2 draw. There has been just 1 draw between them in the Premier League. The sides played out a 4-goal thriller at Old Trafford back in 1993 with a Ruel Fox penalty snatching a point for Norwich. Odds of 21/1 are available if you see this match finishing with the same result.
Under 2.5 goals. While high-scoring matches are common at Old Trafford in this head-to-head, here at Carrow Road things tend to be much quieter. In fact, 8 of the last 10 matches here have finished with under 2.5 goals after 90 minutes. You can back another low scoring game here on Saturday with odds of 2.1/1 for under 2.5 goals.
Marcus Rashford Goalscorer. Norwich might just be Marcus’ favourite Premier League opponent. The England international has 3 goals and an assist in 2 appearances against the Canaries. However, the 24-years-old has been struggling in front of goal lately and is without a goal in his last 7 appearances for the Red Devils. Rashford (above) is 6.5/1 to score the game’s opener on Saturday. Or 2.6 to bag a goal at any time during the game against Norwich.
Norwich City vs Manchester United: What are the betting odds?
The Canaries are 7.5/1 underdogs to take all 3 points from Manchester United at home for the first time in over 9 years on Saturday.
Whereas, the Red Devils are 1.45/1 to extend their record to 5 consecutive away wins at Carrow Road.
Odds of 4.2/1 are available if you see Norwich City and Manchester United cancelling each other out for the first time on the Carrow Road turf in the Premier League.

Norwich City vs Manchester United: Match preview
United have been hailed for their away record in recent seasons. However, it is there they are struggling most at the moment having won just 1 of their last 4 away matches.
This should be the perfect game though to start picking up some points on the road given that Norwich have the worst home record in the Premier League this season.
The Canaries have scored just 5 goals here all season with their 2-1 win over Southampton their only home victory of the season. Of course, Dean Smith will be the first to point out that under his stewardship, Norwich have picked up 4 points from 6 at home and that their awful record of just 1 point from a possible 15 under Daniel Farke here has no bearing on his side.
This is also true of United, who will be playing their first away match in the Premier League since Ralf Rangnick’s official arrival at the club.
In terms of results, it has been so far so good for the former Leipzig boss. A 1-0 win in his first Premier League match was followed up by securing the point they needed in the Champions League to top their group with an entirely different XI.
However, while the result last weekend was perfect, there was a lot left to be desired from the performance. United failed to create a single big chance in the match and their only shot on target inside the box was from 17 yards out. It took a wonder goal from Fred as he curled one in from 25 yards to win the match.
It was also a wonderful improvised finish from Greenwood in midweek in a match Young Boys had the better of that secured a point. Fans of the Red Devils watched on as the Swiss team had most of the possession and dominated the shot count 17 to 7 at Old Trafford.
Obviously, it will take time for the real benefits of Rangnick’s coaching to be seen on the pitch. Until then, there are worse things than squeezing out results in spite of performances and United fans will be happy to simply feel that the club is going in the right direction once again.
Norwich City team news vs Manchester United
Brandon Williams (above) misses out due to Premier League loan regulations for players facing their parent club. Dimitris Giannoulis is expected to make his first start after being benched by Williams for the last 6 games at left-back.
Mathias Normann has missed the last 2 matches with a pelvic injury. He has had an injection into his pelvic area to aid his recovery and could be involved against Manchester United.
Ozan Kabak has so far been an unused sub since returning after a bout of influenza. He could replace Andrew Omobamidele in the starting XI.
Milot Rashica’s groin issue is worse than first feared and is now expected to be out until after Christmas.
Christoph Zimmermann is still no nearer a return from his ankle surgery. He is yet to feature this summer and a return date has not been mentioned as yet by the club.
However, Sam Byram is nearing a return after featuring for the reserve side in a bid to build up his match fitness. He has a battle on his hands to get minutes out of Max Aarons at right back though.
Manchester United team news vs Norwich City
Paul Pogba is still out due to a quadriceps strain suffered with the France national team during the break. This is expected to rule him out until late January 2022.
Tahith Chong is also on the long-term injury list following groin surgery. He isn’t expected to return to the pitch until at least March 2022.
Anthony Martial will be resting up after complaining of pain in his knee. This will likely be something that needs monitoring game-to-game over the busy Christmas period.
Edinson Cavani is nearing a return though from an irritated tendon that has been bothering him since pre-season.
Raphael Varane is likewise facing a fitness test to be involved here having rejoined training after missing the last 5 league games with a hamstring injury.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka was stretchered off in midweek after colliding with the advertising hoardings. He suffered knocks to his knee and wrist and is in a race against time to be involved here. Diogo Dalot will return at right-back if required.
Ralf Rangnick (above) made 11 changes in the Champions League in midweek. Luke Shaw and Mason Greenwood, who combined for United’s goal, are the only players likely in contention to keep their place here.
