Southampton ended their long wait for a win on the weekend as they defeated Sheffield United.
The Saints had gone nine games without a win, with their last league victory coming back on January 4 against Liverpool.
Hassenhuttl’s side remain in 14th and find themselves five points off the top half.
However, they have just been dealt a major blow with Danny Ings being ruled out of action until the end of the month.
After their trip to the Etihad, Southampton’s next three games see them face sides below them, in Brighton, Burnley and West Brom.

Southampton have dealt a big injury blow with Danny Ings being ruled out of action until the end of the month.
The striker was forced off against Sheffield United with a leg injury.
Che Adams came off the bench to replace Ings and ended up netting in the win at Bramall Lane.
Theo Walcott, Michael Obafemi, Oriol Romeu and William Smallbone all remain sidelined for the trip to the Etihad.
However, Hassenhuttl now has his strongest back-line available after Kyle Walker-Peters returned from injury, allowing Jan Bednarek to slot back in at centre-back.
