Leeds welcome West Ham to Elland Road on Friday night.
West Ham’s three-match winning run came to an end last week as they suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Manchester United.

The result left West Ham 8th in the table on 17 points. A win on Friday would move them up to 5th, at least temporarily.
Like West Ham, Leeds also gave took an early lead before losing 3-1. Patrick Bamford opened the scoring early on for Leeds, who are 14th in the table. A win for them would move them into the top half.

West Ham have won two and drawn one of their five away games this season. The Irons have only suffered one defeat in their last four away games – a 2-1 defeat at champions Liverpool. They held Spurs to a draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and crushed Leicester 3-0 at the King Power.
Friday’s game will be the first Premier League meeting between the two sides since February 2003. Seth Johnson scored the only goal of the game to earn Leeds a 1-0 win. Freddie Kanoute was shown a red card. The two sides have since met four times in the Championship.
In total, the two sides have met 20 times in the Premier League, with Leeds winning 14 of those and drawing a further four. Leeds have only lost one of their last 14 matches against West Ham in all competitions since 1998.
