Huddersfield Town vs Fulham betting tips: Premier League match preview & predictions

Huddersfield Town vs Fulham prediction: Huddersfield Town 1-2 Fulham

Having picked up just one point at the John Smith’s Stadium, home ground advantage is unlikely to be a factor for bottom side Huddersfield.

The Terriers have scored the fewest number of goals in the league (4). Fulham, meanwhile, have shipped the most (28) and are the only side yet to keep a clean sheet.

A win for the visitors would move them out of the relegation zone.

Huddersfield Town vs Fulham: Who will win?

Huddersfield are 13/10 to pick up their first win of the season. Fulham are 23/10 to win while the draw is priced at 5/2.

With both sides in desperate need of all three points, we should see quite an open match. Over 2.5 goals can be backed at 1/1 while both teams to score is 3/4.

Aleksandar Mitrovic will be looking to find his early season form and score his first goal in six matches. The Serbian is 6/1 to open the scoring and 2/1 to score anytime.

Huddersfield Town vs Fulham Premier League match preview

It may only be November but Monday night’s clash is already a potential relegation six-pointer as rock-bottom Huddersfield host Fulham at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Huddersfield suffered their seventh league defeat of the season last weekend, losing 3-0 at Watford. David Wagner’s side are yet to win a match this season.

The Terriers have registered just three points on the board, coming from draws against Burnley, Everton and Cardiff. Worryingly, four of Huddersfield’s goals have come away from home.

Fulham head into the match on the back of five consecutive defeats in all competitions.

The Cottagers are 19th in the table following Newcastle’s win over Watford on Saturday. Fulham are two points above Huddersfield but a win on Monday could see them move as high as 15th.

Last weekend Fulham lost 3-0 at home to Bournemouth. They finished the match with 10 men after Kevin McDonald was sent off in the second half.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s side were also in midweek Carabao Cup action against holders Manchester City on Thursday night. They were comfortably outplayed by City’s second side and lost the match 2-0.

Huddersfield and Fulham have never met before in the Premier League. Indeed, this is their first top-flight meeting since 1952.
