Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa betting tips: Premier League preview, predictions and odds

Match preview

Crystal Palace have made a bright start to the season, but are now looking to get three points on the board.

On Monday night, the Eagles faced Liverpool at Anfield, and took a shock lead when Eberechi Eze played in Wilfried Zaha who finished cooly.

Liverpool were then reduced to ten-men, only to equalise mere moments later so, despite the man advantage, the Eagles were delighted to leave with a point.

This saw Patrick Vieira’s team get off the mark for the campaign, having been beaten 2-0 by Arsenal on the opening weekend.

Now faced with a much more winnable fixture, will Crystal Palace claim all three points?

As for Aston Villa, it was all doom and gloom when they began the campaign with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of newly-promoted Bournemouth at Dean Court.

So, last Saturday’s 2-1 home victory over Everton was much needed for Steven Gerrard’s team.

Danny Ings firing home an opener, before Emi Buendía came off the bench, played a neat one-two with Ollie Watkins, and tapped home the clincher.

Villa won 2-0 at Selhurst Park back in November, so are targeting back-to-back away wins over Palace for the very first time.

Who will come out on top in South London?
