Manchester United returned to winning ways as they defeated Newcastle United to remain in second.
With the Premier League title now seemingly set for City, United will now be hoping to maintain their place in the top four.
Solskjaer’s side are currently ahead of Leicester on goal difference with both sides tied on 49 points.
A win at Stamford Bridge could be a major moment in their bid to play Champions League football next season.
They are six points ahead of the Blues who currently occupy fifth spot.

Thiago Silva continues his recovery from a thigh injury which has kept him out since February 4.
The Brazilian defender is expected to back in the Blues’ clash with Everton early next month.
Chelsea have managed to cope without Silva who had been one of their most important players this season.
Antonio Rüdiger and César Azpilicueta have both secured regular centre-back spots under Tuchel.
The German manager has also rotated between Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen for the third centre-back spot.
Olivier Giroud was drafted into the line-up against Atletico Madrid in place of Tammy Abraham and he took the opportunity with both hands.

Donny van de Beek is also set to join him in returning from injury having been back in training this week.
However, both Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba will miss out as they are both carrying injuries.
Daniel James, Juan Mata and Phil Jones also join them on the sidelines out injured.
