Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Goal Stats get another boost after Man United 1 – Liverpool

Zlatan scores, again

Zlatan is like a fine wine, he just seems to be getting better with age.

He had a bit of an autumn blip, but he’s very much on fire once again.

Manchester United’s decision to sign the 35-year-old Swede on a free transfer last summer raised some eyebrows, but he’s dispelled all those doubts.

Aside from a bit of a goal drought in October, Zlatan has been brilliant.

Indeed, even during that goal drought, his performances remained very good, it’s just that he momentarily lost his shooting boots.

And over the last couple of months, he’s very much got them back in his possession.

Involved in 13 goals in last 10 games

By scoring today, Zlatan’s bumped up his stats even more.

He’s now been involved in 13 goals in United’s last 10 games, bagging 3 assists and 10 goals.

He’s also equaled Sergio Aguero and Alan Shearer in terms of impact on his first 20 Premier League games.
