Zinedine Zidane is reportedly searching for a ‘mole’ within the Real Madrid camp, who he thinks is leaking team news to the press before games.
It’s not the first time Real Madrid players have been accused of betraying a manager and giving away dressing room secrets, with Jose Mourinho claiming Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos did it during his time at the club, and now, Zidane thinks it’s happening again, and has launched an investigation into just who the traitor in the camp is.
ABC.es claim that line-ups before El Clasico against Barcelona and also the Champions league tie against PSG were leaked – and Zidane is determined to find out who the culprit is and make sure they’re punished – or even sold by the club this summer as he looks to end the season on a high by winning the Champions League – with the club of course winning it three times in the last four seasons and becoming the first side to ever win it back-to-back.
One player who everyone knows will always be in the starting line-up is Cristiano Ronaldo, who showed against Juventus why he’s got a strong claim to be considered one of the greatest in the world – if not the greatest.
The forward netted two goals, and his second was simply sensational, and he once again proved that Real Madrid simply have to do everything in their power to keep him and keep him happy at the club, despite the almost constant rumours linking him with the exit door and a return to Manchester United – something that does not, in reality, seem feasible.
