Positive for Everton?
Everton may have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Barcelona defender Yerry Mina after he commented on his future.
The Colombian defender is the subject of much interest from Marco Silva at Goodison Park who is looking to overhaul his squad.
That doesn’t mean that it will be easy to seal a deal for him though, with Barcelona seemingly slightly reluctant to let the player go permanently.
Though, the arrival of Sevilla defender Clément Lenglet will mean he would be quite far down the pecking order at the Camp Nou.
That has lead to thoughts that the player could leave in order to get minutes on the pitch and Everton look the most viable option right now.
Now, the player himself has spoken out about a potential move after he returned from the World Cup.
Safe to say, Everton fans will be encouraged by his comments in which he explained he wants to play for a team where he can get regular time on the pitch.
‘I want to play for a team where there is less pressure and where I can have minutes,’ he explained, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
‘I will always try to do my best for me, for my club and I hope that wherever I end up, whether it is at Barcelona or whether I have to leave, I will do it in the best way.’
It certainly seems that he might be on the move soon.
