Wolves training photos confirm massive personnel boost

The latest photos stemming from the training ground of Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers will no doubt bring a collective smile to the faces of the club’s fanbase.

Wonderful Wolves

The atmosphere at Molineux at present is, of course, an altogether positive one.

Amid a campaign which has seen the club defy the expectations of many under the watch of new boss Bruno Lage, Wolves sit 8th in the Premier League table, just five points off the European places.

A new-found defensive solidity has proven key, with the Midlands-based outfit having remarkably conceded just 14 goals across the English top-flight season, a record bettered only by table-topping Manchester City.

Never more evident was the stoutness of Lage’s backline than this past Monday, when, owing to their latest clean sheet, Wolves departed Old Trafford with all three points, owing to a richly-deserved 1-0 downing of Manchester United.

Neto boost

And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, the reasons for the Wolves faithful to smile have only continued to mount.

This comes on the back of a series of photos from the club’s training ground making their way online.

The images in question, posted across the Molineux outfit’s social media platforms, have unveiled a timely boost on the personnel front, in the form of the return of star attacker Pedro Neto.

Portuguese international Neto has not taken to the pitch since all the way back in April of last year, owing to a patella fracture picked up during a meeting with Fulham.

As showcased below, though, the 21-year-old is inching ever-closer to his comeback, ahead of potentially pulling on Wolves’ colours once more before the month of January is out:
