Wolves boss Nuno provides Adama Traore update ahead of Leicester

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo has provided an update on the fitness of Adama Traore, ahead of his side’s meeting with Leicester City.

Wolves vs Leicester

The Wanderers are set to return to Premier League action following the international break tomorrow night.

Wolves will welcome Leicester City to Molineux, for a crucial fixture in the English top-flight’s European race.

Leicester currently sit 3rd, a comfortable 10 points clear of 5th-placed Sheffield United.

The Foxes’ hit-and-miss form of late, though, means that they will no doubt head into proceedings in 24 hours’ time keen to get back on track with all 3 points.

Wolves, meanwhile, sit 9th in the Premier League table.

The close nature of the battle for a Europa League spot, though, means that a victory over Leicester would see Nuno’s men, at least temporarily, climb above all of Tottenham, Everton and Manchester United into 6th.

Traore boost

Wolves’ hopes of doing so, meanwhile, have today been boosted by some positive news on the personnel front.

Speaking in a press conference this afternoon, Nuno Espirito Santo provided an update on the fitness of Adama Traore.

Spanish wide-man Traore was forced off with an ankle issue in Wolves’ last outing, a 0-0 stalemate with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The former Middlesbrough man, though, has seemingly fully recovered, with Nuno having confirmed that Traore is available to feature from the off versus Leicester tomorrow night:

‘All the squad, with the exception of Vinagre, is available for tomorrow. Everybody is ready to go.’

‘It’s less of a worry for him [Adama] because he’s strong and he has a lot of people taking care of him. The problem is there, of course, and it takes time to settle down, but the kind of work he’s doing, muscular work, it’s about getting stronger and taking care, avoiding some kind of contact, of course.’
