Wojciech Szczęsny trolls West Brom star in Polish press conference (Video)

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny today used a press conference to poke fun at West Brom star and Polish international teammate Grzegorz Krychowiak’s dress sense.

Szczęsny, who spent 8 years with Arsenal (though 3 of those were on loan with Brentford and Roma), made the move to Italian giants Juventus during the summer, where he has agreed to play second fiddle to Gianluigi Buffon for this season.

The 27-year-old developed his game immensely over the past two years, looking a sure and steady presence in the Italian capital with AS Roma.

He is currently away on international duty with Poland, with Adam Nawałka’s men set to take on Armenia and Montenegro in a pair of crucial World Cup qualifiers this week.

Poland currently sit top of Group E with 19 points, while a win versus Armenia on Thursday evening could secure their qualification to next year’s Russian showpiece.

Adam Nawalka, along with star Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, spoke at a press conference this morning ahead of Thursday’s crunch fixture.

During proceedings, Szczesny, long-known for being something of a joker off the pitch, joined in with the gathering of journalists to question his coach on one of his Polish teammates.

The teammate at the heart of discussions was midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, who joined Premier League outfit West Brom from PSG this summer.

Szczesny alluded to the clothing that his fellow Pole had donned since arriving with the national team, and whether there would be any consequences forthcoming as a result of his questionable dress sense.
